Document legalization

Legalization of documents in the UAE may be required for citizens of any country who open a business in the Arab Emirates and wish to move to a new place of residence. Legalization is a confirmation of the authenticity of signatures, seals, content of documents issued outside the country. After legalization, all forms that have undergone the procedure will be confirmed and recognized by the UAE authorities, the applicant will be entitled to register a marriage, obtain a visa, open a bank account and so on.

Stages of document legalization in the UAE:

• Apostille or notarization in the country where the documents were issued
• Applying to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country to legalize the documents (after obtaining an apostille)
• Transfer of documents to the UAE consulate or embassy for further verification
• Transfer of documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Emirates for the final stage of verification and subsequent legalization.
